The concept of Agri Project Africa was conceived in June 2021, during conversation with friends from Kenya and Zambia, about food security and the fact that so much food, including fruits and vegetables, is being imported every day into the African continent, when the same fruits and vegetables are and can be grown locally.  

The project lay dormant for about six months, or until January 2022, when I realized that the best way Agri Project Africa would be able to contribute to the solution of the problem outlined above, is to show the positive side of agriculture.  

The sad fact is, that all around the world, becoming a farmer or seek a career in agriculture, is often looked upon as a last resort step to take.  News about agriculture for most part focus on problems related to agriculture and negative stories and events from the field.

By telling success stories of real people doing great things as farmers, and individuals or organization, related to agriculture, Agri Project Africa brings attention to the positive site of agriculture and the opportunities it offers.
